Safety certificates for your gas appliances

By law all landlords have to have their gas appliances serviced on an annual basis to ensure they are functioning safely and meets correct safety standards.

We can provide gas safety checks on your gas appliances and if necessary service them before issuing the Landlords' Gas Safety certificates.

After new gas appliances (excluding flueless cookers) have been fitted, the installation must be notified to your local authority under the Building Regulations in England and Wales. For more information on your legal responsibilities as a landlord or letting agent, visit the HSE website

We will notify the Gas Safe register after installation and you will receive a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate.

Gas safety service includes checks to ensure:

• The flue or chimney is correctly removing the products of combustion (fumes) outside
• There is an adequate supply of fresh air so the gas burns properly
• The appliance is burning the gas properly
• All safety devices are working properly and shutting the appliance off if a fault occurs.
